Hey! I’m Joel

I’m an engineer passionate about computers since my childhood. I spend my workdays setting the building blocks to manage the data flowing around. That means architecting, building, deploying, and monitoring tools like Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, and many of the not Pokemon ‘big data’ technologies. Furthermore, I love to embrace the DevOps culture and tools to be able to manage all these fast-evolving technologies.

I’m happily married!!! I would not be doing anything useful without my super smart and supportive wife, Eugènia.

My experience

I have a bachelor’s degree in informatics engineering from the Barcelona School of Informatics (Facultat d’Informàtica de Barcelona in Catalan).

I’ve been working on DevOps and Data Engineering roles for the last five years.
